Processes supporting the achievement of our goals
With a total of 4,800 m² of production space across our facilities in Jelgava (2,600 m²) and Bauska (2,200 m²), we are equipped to handle and manufacture complex components with precision and efficiency. Our workshops feature up to 16-ton cranes and a lifting height of 8 meters (from ground to hook), enabling us to manage large-scale parts with the following capabilities:
Sawing / Thermal cutting
We offer sawing capabilities up to 500 x 350 mm and, when needed, collaborate with trusted partners for larger-scale sawing and thermal cutting processes. We can source specific layouts for plates up to 12 m x 3.5 m and profiles up to 15 m in length, ensuring efficient nesting with minimal material waste.
Bending / Rolling
Our in-house press brake, capable of bending parts up to 4.5 meters in length with a force of 500 tons, is equipped with a wide range of tooling to execute complex bends. We have extensive expertise in material cold-forming properties, carefully considering factors such as minimum bending radius, rolling direction, material grade, and thickness to ensure precision and prevent material damage.
Welding
At MG Industry, welding is the foundation of our production process. Our highly skilled team guarantees strength, precision, and durability in every structure we manufacture. We have qualified welding technology in accordance with ISO 15614 for structural steel, high strenght steel, stainless steel and aluminium with TIG/MIG/MAG processes. We ensure our welders are certified to ISO 9606 standards.
Non destructive testing (NDT)
We have internally certified Level 2 VT and MT personnel and maintain a contract with an accredited external NDT laboratory for additional methods, including UT, PT, and RT. Additionally this partnership ensures Level 3 supervision and destructive testing for welding qualifications.
Milling
We collaborate with trusted partners specializing in the precision machining of large welded structures. Our capabilities include processing components with a longitudinal axis of up to 14 meters, a vertical axis of up to 3.5 meters, and a cross axis of 1.5 meters. Additionally, we utilize a turning table capable of handling loads up to 20 tons, ensuring machining of large items in one setup.
Grit Blasting & Metalizing
Proper surface preparation is essential for ensuring coating adhesion, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. We meticulously control our blasting processes in accordance with ISO 8501 and ISO 8503 to maintain high-quality standards. Our metalizing and wet painting services deliver premium finishes tailored for demanding industrial applications, adhering to ISO 2063 and ISO 12944 guidelines. We have successfully met stringent corrosion categories such as C5 and Immersion in seawater (Im2) with high durability requirements—yet we are eager to take on even greater challenges.
Assembly
MG Industry offers an assembly of components we manufacture and source. With extensive expertise, well-equipped facilities, and reliable handling equipment, we efficiently execute complex assemblies featuring pre-loaded or non-preloaded joints. Our skilled team is committed to delivering turnkey solutions with precision and quality.
Functional testing
During assembly, we verify the correct fit-up of parts. Afterward, we are able to perform functional tests for mechanical, hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic systems to ensure functionality.
